November 10th
Today was our veteran's day assembly at HHS. I always get emotional, because I think of all the soldiers who have left their families to fight for my freedom. I know that my own children have had a small part in this fight for freedom and my dad was in World War II. Freedom is not free but cost the lives of men and women.

Thought about Grandpa a lot on V-day. Watching TV, seeing WWII vets interviewed, noticed that the shift is toward interviewing Vietnam & Desert Storm, as there are fewer and fewer WWII veterans.
